After her studies, the designer toured South America for a year becoming inspired by the culture and creativity of the people who live there. The results of her experiences led to the creation of the Madame Melon jewellery line.The Madame Melon range fits well with the London Ethnic ethos that fashion can be sustainable, ethical and can benefit all those involved in the manufacturing process. The range is produced with materials sourced from some of South America’s most deprived areas in Bolivia. By ensuring that the Madame Melon range supports these communities through fair-trade policies throughout, there is a mutually beneficial relationship between all those involved.
